Upcoming Events

October 23, 2026:  Secondary Reading League (SRL) will host the 47th Day of Reading with Dr. Jenny French from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Tinley Park Convention Center, 18501 Convention Center Drive, Tinley Park, Illinois.

November 16, 2026:  Secondary Reading League (SRL) and Illinois SLD Support Project will co-host the Addressing Reading Difficulties in Secondary Classrooms:  Instruction and Intervention with Kellyn Sirach from 6:30 to 7:30 pm via a Virtual Event.

January 13, 2027:  Secondary Reading League (SRL) and Illinois SLD Support Project will co-host the Write to Learn:  Strengthening Knowledge Through Context Writing with Jessica Rodriguez from 6:30 to 7:30 pm via a Virtual Event.

March 11-12, 2027:  Illinois Reading Council will host the 58th Annual IRC Conference in Springfield, Illinois.  Please take a moment to peruse the highlights planned for 2027.
