Upcoming Events 

October 29, 2026:  Suburban Council of IRA (SCIRA) will host a Fall Conference on The Reading Toolbox with Liz Bramley and Natalie Biancalana from 4:30 to 6:00 pm at National Louis University, 1000 Capitol Drive, Wheeling, Illinois.

January 27, 2027:  Suburban Council of IRA (SCIRA) will host a Winter Conference on Translanguaging for Student Success:  Supporting Emergent Bilingual Students from 6:00 to 7:30 pm via Zoom.

March 11-12, 2027:  Illinois Reading Council will host the 58th Annual IRC Conference in Springfield, Illinois.  Please take a moment to peruse the highlights planned for 2027.

June 15, 2027:  Suburban Council of IRA (SCIRA) will host a Summer Renewal Conference with Meghan Hargrave from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm at the Holiday Inn Northshore-Skokie, 5300 Touhy Ave, Skokie, Illinois.
