Upcoming Events 

November 8, 2023:  Suburban Council of IRA (SCIRA) will host Illinois State Literacy Plan with Laura Beltchenko from 4:30 to 6:00 pm at National Louis University, 1000 Capitol Drive, Wheeling, Illinois.  Plan to attend and learn more about the Illinois K-12 Literacy Plan and how to share your voice.

January 2024:  Suburban Council of IRA (SCIRA) will host a Winter Conference via Zoom.  More information will be available soon.

February 3, 2024:  Illinois Reading Council will host the Illinois Reads Book Festival from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Westmont High School, 909 Oakwood Drive, Westmont, Illinois. 

March 14-15, 2024:  Illinois Reading Council will host the 55th Annual IRC Conference in Springfield, Illinois.  Please take a moment to peruse the highlights planned for 2024.

June 13, 2024:  Suburban Council of IRA (SCIRA) will host the Summer Conference with Jose Medina from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm at the Holiday Inn Northshore-Skokie, 5300 W. Touhy, Skokie, Illinois.
