September 16, 2026:  Central Illinois Reading Council will host a Book Chat from 4:30 to 6:00 pm at Elderberry & Plumb, 926 S 7^th St, Springfield, Illinois.

October 21, 2026:  Central Illinois Reading Council will host a Book Chat from 4:30 to 6:00 pm at Ink & Imprint, 125 N Kickapoo St, Lincoln, Illinois.

November 21-22, 2026:  Central Illinois Reading Council will host the Books for Babies Book Fair at Barnes and Noble, Southwest Plaza, 3111 S Veterans Pkwy, Springfield, Illinois.  Books can be purchased at any Barnes and Nobel or online at bn.com/bookfairs.  The Book Fair Id # will be available soon. 

January 20, 2027:  Central Illinois Reading Council will host a Book Chat from 4:30 to 6:00 pm at Our Town Books, 64 E Central Park Plaza, Jacksonville, Illinois.

February 17, 2027:  Central Illinois Reading Council will host a Book Chat from 4:30 to 6:00 pm at Sly Fox, 123 N Springfield St, Virden, Illinois.

March 11-12, 2027:  Illinois Reading Council will host the 58th Annual IRC Conference in Springfield, Illinois.  Please take a moment to peruse the highlights planned for 2027.
