Bibliotherapy: A Systematic Research Review with Social-Emotional Learning Applications By Melinda E. Langeberg

Introductory Paragraph: The purpose of the study was to suggest an updated bibliotherapy definition and identify techniques that align with social and emotional learning procedures classroom teachers can use to meet children’s emotional and academic needs. The study analyzes 10 bibliotherapy studies employing typological analysis. Results provided an updated definition and recommendations for classroom use.
