Introductory Paragraph: When the IRC and Illinois Reads Honorary Chairman, Secretary of State and State Librarian Jesse White, announced the 2020-2021 book titles, they selected Pick a Pumpkin by Patricia Toht as one of the titles for ages Birth to 4! Before becoming an author, Patricia owned a children’s bookstore named Never Never Land and a children’s toy store. She has lived in Chicago most of her life, but her family was blessed to live in England for four years. Patricia and her husband have four grown children.
