November 18, 2008: Western Illinois Reading Council will host a Fall Preservice Teacher Reading Night at 5:30 PM at Western Illinois University, Horrabin Hall, Macomb, Illinois.
February 21-25, 2009: International Reading Association will host its 54th Annual Convention Beyond the Horizon featuring Two Great Events in Two Great Cities. In February, IRA will host Multiple, Pathways to Literacy in Phoenix, Arizona. IRA will host Reading, Writing, and Conversations from May 3-7, 2009 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
