October 20, 2010: Will County Reading Council and Lewis University College of Education will co-sponsor a Fall Author Visit with Gary Moore, author of Playing with the Enemy, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Lewis University, De LaSalle Room 250, One University Parkway, Romeoville, Illinois. There is no admission fee! Suggested admission donation of one gently used book to support school classroom libraries.

March 17-19, 2011: Illinois Reading Council will host the 43rd Annual IRC Conference, Literacy Outside the Box!, in Springfield, Illinois. Please take a moment to peruse the Conference Preview highlighting
the award-winning authors and dynamic speakers that will help you explore Literacy Outside the Box! Registration and Housing will be available in October 2010.
