March 6, 2012:  Vermilion Valley Reading Council will host an event with Kathy Bolser, a special education teacher, at Pizza Inn, 305 W. Williams Street, Danville, Illinois.  For more information, please contact Lynette Evans. 

March 15-17, 2012:  Illinois Reading Council will host the 44th Annual IRC Conference, Literacy in the Land of Lincoln, in Springfield, Illinois.  Please take a moment to peruse the Conference Preview. Housing and Registration forms will be available in October 2011!

April 12, 2012:  Vermilion Valley Reading Council and Illini Reading Council will host CAFE in the Classroom:  Adapting the Work of the 2 Sister with Crystal Anderson and Elaine Modene from 9:00 a.m. to noon.  The cost to register is $5 for Vermilion Valley and Illini members and $10 for non-members.  For more information, please contact Lynette Evans or Mary Kay Thompson.
