March 6, 2009: Vermilion Valley Reading Council and Illini Reading Council will present Professional Books that Make a Difference with a Focus on the Differentiation
with Peggy Sherman from 9:00 a.m.
to 12:00 p.m. at Mellon Administrative Center, Board Room, 703 S. New
Street, Champaign, Illinois. The cost is $5 for Illini or Vermilion
Valley members and $10 for non-members. Reservations are due by March
1, 2010 to Marcia Wickes. For

March 18-20, 2010: IRC Conference, Lighting the Way to Literacy, in Springfield, Illinois. Please take a moment to peruse the Conference Preliminary Program highlighting
the
highly respected leaders in the field of reading who will brighten your
way in teaching the children who will be our future leaders. Early
registration is available until February 1, 2010. Conference housing
closes on February 24, 2010.
March 27, 2010: Vermilion Valley Reading Council
will hold a board meeting at 1:00 p.m. at Five Star Restaurant, 3216 N. Vermilion,
