February 11, 2012: Secondary Reading League (SRL)
will host Engaging Adolescents in Reading, Writing, and Thinking in all Content Areas with ReLeah Cossett Lent from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Willowbrook Holiday
Inn, 7800 Kingery Drive, Willowbrook, Illinois. Registration is $30 for SRL members and $45 for non-members.
March 15, 2012: Secondary Reading League (SRL)
will host a Secondary Strand of Literacy Presentations at the 2012 IRC Conference in Springfield, Illinois.
March 15-17, 2012: Illinois Reading Council will host the 44th Annual IRC Conference, Literacy in the Land of Lincoln, in Springfield, Illinois. Please take a moment to peruse the Conference Preview. Housing and Registration forms will be available in October 2011!
April 19, 2012: Secondary Reading League (SRL)
will host Young Adult Book Talk with Jan Dundon from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m. at Lou Malnati's, 130 W. Jefferson Avenue, Naperville, Illinois. Registration is $30 for SRL members and $45 for non-members and includes dinner.
