November 6, 2010:  Illini Reading Council and Vermilion Valley Reading Council will co-host the Daily 5 in the Classroom:  Adapting the Work of the 2 Sisters from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Parish Center, 405 W. Clark, Champaign, Illinois. 

January 31, 2011:  Illini Reading Council will host Books and Technology for the Reluctant Reader from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Champaign Public Library, 200 W. Green Street, Champaign, Illinois. 

March 17-19, 2011:  Illinois Reading Council will host the 43rd Annual IRC Conference, Literacy Outside the Box!, in Springfield, Illinois.  Please take a moment to peruse the Conference Preview highlighting the award-winning authors and dynamic speakers that will help you explore Literacy Outside the Box!  Registration and Housing will be available in October 2010.

April 9, 2011:  Illini Reading Council and Vermilion Valley Reading Council will co-host the Academic Vocabulary and Comprehension Strategies in the Content area Classroom from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Urbana Free Library, 210 W. Green Street, Urbana, Illinois.
