March 17-19, 2011: Illinois Reading Council will host the 43rd Annual IRC Conference, Literacy Outside the Box!, in Springfield, Illinois. Please take a moment to peruse the Conference Preview highlighting
the award-winning authors and dynamic speakers that will help you explore Literacy Outside the Box! Registration and Housing will be available in October 2010.
May 8-11, 2011: International Reading Association will host the 56th Annual Convention, The Power of Literacy, in Orlando, Florida. To find out more about this exciting convention, check out the Annual Convention section at www.reading.org.
May 21, 2011: Illinois Language & Literacy Council (ILLC), Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE), and IRC will cosponsor the 37th Annual Illinois Young Authors' Conference at
Illinois Statue University in Normal, Illinois. The 2011 Guidelines
and Registration packets will be available in late October/November.
