February 11, 2012: Chicago Area Reading Association (CARA) will host a Common Core Standards: Knowing, Understanding, Doing with Laura Beltchenko from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Northeastern Illinois University Recital Hall, 5500 North St. Louis Avenue, Chicago, Illinois. Registration is due by February 3, 2012. Cost is $30 for CARA members and NEIU Alumni, $20 for NEIU students. CPDU credits are available.
March 15-17, 2012: Illinois Reading Council will host the 44th Annual IRC Conference, Literacy in the Land of Lincoln, in Springfield, Illinois. Please take a moment to peruse the Conference Preview. Housing and Registration forms will be available in October 2011!
April 12, 2012: Chicago Area Reading Association (CARA) will hold a board meeting at 5:00 p.m. For more information, please contact Veronica Robinson.
