| Purpose:
To promote literacy development in the school and community, and/or provide professional development opportunities related to the improvement of reading and writing instruction.
Grants:
The IRC Literacy Support Grants Committee will award financial grants to local and special interest councils and individual council members for the purpose of promoting literacy. The Grant Application and Deadlines are available online. The application deadline is May 1, 2012. Awards will be announced by July 1, 2012.
Reports:
Grant Recipients can submit the Final Report for their literacy project either with the online form or by mail. Final Reports are due within 30 days of the conclusion of the program or project.
